The Prince George’s County Department of The Environment is currently seeking qualified applicants to fill a Landfill Equipment Operator II (Equipment Operator 2A), grade A15 position, in the Sustainable Waste Management Division.

Responsibilities

• Operates light to heavy duty construction/landfill equipment and/or bulk collection vehicles including, but not limited to track equipment (dozer, loader, and excavator), compactor, rubber tire loader, off-road dump truck, on-road dump truck, roll-off truck, and other equipment and/or vehicle as assigned.
• Consistently performs effective and efficient operation of assigned equipment to include mastery of equipment auxiliary attachments to ensure incoming waste and recyclables are managed
