About the role
This is professional and technical planning work of a complex nature which involves the responsibility for conducting and assisting with a variety of planning activities and projects. Supervision received from a higher-level administrator. Does related work as required.
Schedule
- Full-time, 35 hours per week, with benefits

Qualifications
Either:
- Possession of a Bachelor's degree or higher in Planning (e.g. Urban, Regional, Community or Environmental), Environmental Design, Environmental Science, Environmental Studies, Landscape Architecture, Building or Civil Engineering, Geography, Social Science, Sustainability, or comparable curriculum and one (1) year of work experience in regional, municipal, community or land-use planning; OR
- Possession of an Associate's degree or higher in one of the above fields and three (3) years of work experience as defined in (a); OR
- An equivalent combination of training and experience as defined by the limits of (a) and (b).
Note: Degree must have been awarded by a college or university accredited by a regional, national, or specialized agency recognized as an accrediting agency by the U.S. Department of Education/U.S. Secretary of Education. If the degree was awarded by an educational institution outside of the United States and its territories, applicant must provide independent verification of equivalency.
