About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Associate to join our Land Use team. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of experience in land use, zoning, real estate development, or related regulatory matters. Experience with entitlement and permitting processes, including interaction with municipal and governmental authorities, is preferred. Familiarity with Colorado land use laws and local regulatory frameworks is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Drafting land use applications, development agreements, zoning analyses, and related materials
- Working with clients from various industries including energy, aerospace, mining, hospitality, and outdoor recreation
- Assisting clients in navigating the complex process of obtaining zoning and other land use entitlements, building permits, and certificates of occupancy
- Collaborating with clients to meet federal, state, and local environmental mandates and obtain necessary permits
- Managing a diverse workload and demonstrating strong interpersonal, organizational, and administrative skills
Requirements
- Admission to the Colorado Bar or eligibility for prompt admission

Qualifications
- 2-5 years of experience in land use, zoning, real estate development, or related regulatory matters
- Experience with entitlement and permitting processes, including interaction with municipal and governmental authorities
- Familiarity with Colorado land use laws and local regulatory frameworks
Skills
- Strong legal research and writing skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Pay
The expected pay range for this position is $210,000 to $250,000 per year. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience, location, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
Schedule
