Land Use and Environmental Associate

About the role

The California offices of Holland & Knight are seeking an experienced land use and environmental associate or counsel to join its West Coast Land Use and Environmental Group.

Responsibilities

• Litigation, including writ-based litigation under the California Environmental Quality Act ("CEQA) or California housing laws, or traditional environmental litigation
• Experience with land use entitlements and CEQA analyses
• Experience with regulatory counseling under various state and federal environmental laws (preferred)
• Strong litigation experience (considered for candidates with some transferrable skills)

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
• Admission to the California bar
• Relevant transferable skills
• Strong academic background

Qualifications

• Ability to work a minimum of 3 days in office

• Strong research and writing skills

Pay

The pay range for this position in California is $260,000 - $435,000/yr. This range is specific to this location and may not be applicable to other locations. An individual's actual compensation will depend on the individual's qualifications and experience.

Schedule

A minimum of 3 days in office required.
