Land Survey Technician

Position Summary

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Sets up, adjusts, and operates the equipment used at surveying job sites.
• Measures, records, and calculates data based on readings from surveying instruments.
• Lies out and recovers markings, stakes, and other such signifiers at work locations.
• Communicate with the management team, regulatory agencies, and clients regarding land surveying schedules, activities, and results, as necessary.
• Prepares and submits progress reports as requested.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities)

• A high school diploma/GED or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment, working outside.
• Ability to meet established deadlines.
• Ability to comply with safety procedures.
