Land Survey Manager
Office Work
Conduct and oversee diverse types of Surveys, including Boundary, Topography, ALTA/NSPS, Construction Staking, Bathymetric, Drone, 3D Scanning, etc.
Plan, coordinate, and manage survey projects to completion, ensuring timelines and budgets
Communicate with coworkers and clients to understand their overall needs, provide updates, and deliver high-quality service
Prepare, review, and interpret legal documents, including deeds, plats, and easements
Ensure all survey activities comply with state and local regulations and standards. Uphold ethical and professional standards
Utilize advanced surveying equipment and software to collect and analyze data, ensuring precision and accuracy
Keep up on the latest technology advancements, regulations, and emerging technologies in land surveying
Mentor and train junior surveyors and technicians, fostering a collaborative and knowledgeable team environment
Field Work
Conduct on-site surveys using GPS, total stations, and other surveying instruments
Collect accurate field data and ensure proper documentation
Maintain and calibrate survey equipment to ensure optimal performance
Address and resolve any issues encountered in the field
Pay and Benefits
Salary Range: The starting salary for this position is $80,000, with final compensation determined based on qualifications and licensing status.
