Land Survey Field Technician

Responsibilities

• Affords assistance to the Survey Crew Chief in performing field work, which includes compiling field notes, making measurements and sketches, and using hand tools.
• Operates various survey instruments such as GPS, Robotic and Conventional Total Stations, Digital and Auto Levels, and Data Collectors.
• Performs basic math computations.
• Maintains the cleanliness and stock level of the survey truck.
• Ensures the proper maintenance of survey equipment.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma is required.
• One to three years of land survey experience is preferred.
• The ability to work in varying weather and site conditions is essential.
• The capacity to carry equipment and navigate uneven terrain and wooded areas is necessary.
• A valid driver's license is required.
