Land Mobile Radio Consultant

Qualifications

• A very strong understanding of: Client LMR systems that use P25 trunking 700 MHz and conventional UHF
• Knowledge of Client P25 MCC 7500 radio console operations
• Client Wave PTX/Critical Connect web based LMR service
• Client portable (APX 8000) and Mobile (APX 8500) radios used by LAPP
• Los Angeles County Public Safety Agencies LMR systems for interoperability with LAPP including: LAPD, LAWA Police, LARICS, ICI
• Federal law enforcement agencies LMR systems
• Willingness to work on-site at LAPP, remote radio sites, and other Harbor Department facilities or virtually as approved by the LAPP SSD Commander
• Provide recommendations and guidance as requested
• Liaison with other Los Angeles County public and Federal public safety agencies as needed on behalf of LAPP
• Confer with Client as needed on behalf of LAPP
• Participate in relevant meetings with LAPP, ITD and LAPP as scheduled
• Available to work as soon as the process is complete
