About the role
This role is for someone who is already leading projects and relationships and is ready to have a bigger hand in shaping both. Not just managing work, but helping influence how it’s delivered and how the team grows.
Responsibilities
- Lead land development projects from concept through construction, working closely with clients and internal teams to keep things moving - technically, financially, and relationally.
- Mentor and support a team of engineers
- Build and strengthen client relationships (and help bring new ones in!)
- Stay close to project performance (we’re talking scope, schedule, and budget)
- Play a role in expanding our presence in the Kansas City market
- Help shape how the team operates and delivers work
Requirements
- B.S. in Civil Engineering or related field preferred
- 5+ years of land development experience
- PE license preferred
- Strong project and client management experience
- Experience leading teams or a clear readiness to step into that role
- A sense of ownership: you care about the work, your team, and your clients
