We are growing our Land Development team in Springfield, MO and looking for a Team Leader to help lead the next phase.
About the role
This role is for someone who is already leading projects and relationships and is ready to have a bigger hand in shaping both. Not just managing work, but helping influence how it’s delivered and how the team grows.
Responsibilities
- Lead land development projects from concept through construction, working closely with clients and internal teams to keep things moving—technically, financially, and relationally.
- Mentor and support a team of engineers.
- Build and strengthen client relationships (and help bring new ones in!).
- Stay close to project performance (scope, schedule, and budget).
- Play a role in expanding our presence in the Springfield market.
- Help shape how the team operates and delivers work.
Requirements
- B.S. in Civil Engineering or related field (preferred).
- 5+ years of land development experience.
- PE license (preferred).
- Strong project and client management experience.
- Experience leading teams or a clear readiness to step into that role.
- A sense of ownership: you care about the work, your team, and your clients.
Benefits
- 100% employee-owned firm—your work directly contributes to the company’s success and your future.
- Trust and autonomy: empowered to make decisions without unnecessary layers.
- Growth in Springfield: this role plays a part in where we’re headed, not just where we’ve been.
- Strong, low-ego teams: people who support each other and take pride in doing good work.
- Real flexibility: treated like a professional and a person, with opportunities to have fun along the way.
