Land Development Project Manager
About the role
Lead the development of design and technical documents through all phases of projects.
Prepare, plan, and develop project design elements including, but not limited to:
- Rezoning & Entitlement Applications
- Preliminary Plans
- Site & Subdivision Plans
- Open and closed storm drainage systems including stormwater management
- Water and Sanitary Sewer system design
- Compliance with zoning ordinances, proffers, and applicable facility standards
- Erosion and sediment control plans and design E&S control measures in accordance with state criteria
Perform QA/QC of own work and the work of team members.
Utilize working knowledge of VDOT, state, and local standards, policies, and procedures.
Design and create technical documents in Civil 3D or in AutoCAD using Carlson Design Software.
Advance and lead planning studies, preliminary and final design plan production, and project permitting.
Train and mentor new and junior level staff members.
Remain current with Local, State, and Federal design standards and regulations to ensure compliance.
Requirements
Minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible experience in all phases of services in planning, design, and management.
A Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering.
Exemplary teamwork, interpersonal, and project management skills.
