About the role

The Civil Site Project Engineer position is part of Benesch's Site Development team in North Carolina. The ideal candidate will have previous experience with land development projects and comprehensive knowledge of developing plans in accordance with NCDOT and surrounding local county development standards.

Responsibilities

  • Create and execute project work plans
  • Interact with clients, agencies, and other project stakeholders
  • Represent Benesch at industry and professional engagement events

Requirements

  • A minimum of 4 years of diverse and progressive site development experience
  • Licensed PE in the state of NC
  • B.S. Degree in Civil Engineering
  • Experience working with public agencies, private entities and/or municipalities
  • Progressive experience with developing plans specifications, and submissions per development regulatory standards and requirements
  • Excellent communication and client relation skills
  • Strong organization skills with a track record for adhering to design budgets and schedules
  • Ability to work independently and develop task deliverables in a complete and reviewable manner
  • Proficient with AutoCAD Civil 3D and stormwater modeling software preferred

Pay

Compensation details are confidential and will be shared upon successful completion of the interview process.

Schedule

This position will report to our Charlotte office 3 days a week.
