Land Advisor & Program Manager

Open Roles/Land Advisor & Program Manager We're Hiring Land Advisor & Program Manager TypeFull-TimeLocationTampa, FL preferred, remote U.S. considered Linton Co is a Tampa-based hospitality company. Our main brand, Ferncrest, is a glamping franchise, and one of the most common questions we get is: could I do this on my own land? Land Navigator is how we answer it. It’s a three-month engagement that takes clients through land evaluation whether they already own property (VALIDATE) or are still looking for it (FIND). Either way, the client leaves with real answers: is this feasible, what’s the opportunity, what would it take, and what’s the plan to get there. Every engagement produces two professional deliverables, the GlampLaunch Feasibility Study and the Site Plan Deck. You’ll be the client’s lead throughout. That means running the client calls, building the weekly deliverables, and directing a data analyst who supports you. It also means being the project manager for the whole engagement: coordinating the rest of the Linton Co team, scheduling our operators, development, marketing, and real estate people onto client calls at the right moments, and making sure their experience is built into every deliverable. You are not expected to do all the work yourself. You are expected to orchestrate it, compile it, and guide the client through it so the final product reflects everything our team knows. The goal is simple to state and hard to do: every Land Navigator client should feel they got far more than they paid for. Over-delivering on expectations is the job. A client who finishes the engagement that way is the one who comes back for more, including franchising with Ferncrest. Plenty of clients are here purely for the land consulting and never franchise with us, and both outcomes are wins if the work was excellent. The Role What you'll do. Client delivery Own delivery on as many as 20 concurrent clients at a time at staggered phases, from kickoff through final Site Plan Deck.Run client calls across the Land Navigator process: market research, feasibility, and site planning.Present market research, competitor sets, and land feasibility findings directly to clients.Build the weekly deliverables, including market research briefs, feasibility decks, and site planning materials. Orchestrating the team Coordinate Linton Co team members into each engagement: schedule them with clients at the right phase, brief them beforehand, and capture their input into the deliverables.Direct a data analyst’s research so market pulls, comps, zoning, and site data are ready before they hit a client deck. Sourcing, risk, and handoffs Run the FIND path: screen parcels (county GIS, zoning overlays, flood maps), source listings, and keep the client portal current as new land comes in.Track the full client roster and flag risk, delay, or scope creep early.Know when a question belongs to a licensed engineer, attorney, permitting office, or lender, and get the client there.Where a client is franchise-ready, set up a clean handoff to our development and franchise team; where they’re not, close the engagement well. Improving the playbook Improve the playbook as you go: deliverable templates, the analyst’s research checklist, the 12-week cadence, and case-study material for our marketing team. You Who we're looking for. A confident presenter who can walk a landowner or prospective franchisee through a feasibility deck without sounding like they’re reading a script.Willing to tell a client their land doesn’t work. Land Navigator only creates value if the answer is honest.A natural project manager: comfortable pulling senior people into a process, keeping them on schedule, and turning their input into a finished product.Comfortable turning dataset-heavy research (ADR, comps, zoning, demographics) into a clear, decision-ready story.Organized enough to run 20 engagements in parallel, each at a different phase, without losing track of a deliverable.Comfortable directing an analyst’s workload and holding the output to a standard. Background in outdoor hospitality or glamping consulting, real estate brokerage, hospitality development, or urban and land-use planning.3 to 8 years of professional experience in consulting, real estate, planning, or hospitality. Bonus, not required Has built or reviewed a feasibility study or pro forma for a hospitality, RV, or campground asset.Familiarity with STR data platforms (AirDNA, Key Data), county GIS and parcel tools (Regrid, LandGlide), and building decks in Gamma or Google Slides. Work arrangement We’re prioritizing candidates based in Tampa, FL — or willing to relocate — but we’ll consider hybrid-remote candidates who can travel to Tampa as needed.
