Land Acquisition Manager
About the role
A Land Acquisition Manager maintains the company's pipeline of potential land deals and manages key players on the Land Acquisition team. Responsibilities include assisting with financial analysis, quarterly reporting, budget reviews, sourcing land leads, assembling feasibility packages, and monitoring acquisitions. The role involves researching new land parcels, establishing target markets, building relationships with local developers, builders, brokers, and landowners, creating financial models, identifying underutilized properties, and ensuring contract compliance in a hybrid work environment.

- SharePoint and Microsoft Teams
Responsibilities
- Maintain the company’s pipeline of potential land deals
- Assist with financial analysis, quarterly reporting, and budget reviews
- Source land leads and assemble feasibility packages
- Monitor acquisitions and ensure contract compliance
- Research new land parcels and establish target markets
- Build relationships with local developers, builders, brokers, and landowners
- Create financial models and identify underutilized properties
Requirements
The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and has an analytical mindset with strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Real estate or homebuilding experience
- Strong negotiation skills
- Goal-oriented
- Excellent active listening, confidence, and respect in communication
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment
Qualifications
- College degree in business, finance, or a related field (preferred but not required)
