About the Role
The Land Acquisition Analyst will assist in investigating and assessing land purchase opportunities, performing sophisticated land use and financial analyses, and participating in due diligence, including concept land planning, environmental, utility system, and title analysis. This role is deal-oriented and requires a deep understanding of local land market dynamics and challenges in the current real estate climate.
Responsibilities
- Perform land use and financial analyses for potential acquisitions.
- Participate in due diligence, including concept land planning, environmental assessments, utility system evaluations, and title analysis.
- Analyze local land market trends and adjust acquisition strategies accordingly.
- Navigate unique obstacles inherent in residential land acquisition for single-family or in-fill projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Urban Planning, or Civil Engineering (Master’s Degree a plus).
- Residential land acquisition experience in single-family or in-fill projects.
- Proven success navigating local market challenges.
- Experience in Land Acquisitions, Planning, and Development.
- Strong analytical skills and understanding of complex financial analysis.
