Lamination Operator (Nights)

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Setting up and running production on a solvent-less laminating machine.
• Frequent quality checks to ensure meeting customer specifications.
• Completing necessary paperwork to aid in production.
• Reading job specifications and previous run data to determine machine adjustments and material requirements.
• Loading and unloading roll stock.
• Mixing prescribed adhesives, catalysts, and solvents to the proper working viscosity.
• Observing machine operation to detect defects or machine malfunction and making corrections.
• Maintaining line speeds, scrap and set up times to meet or exceed prescribed standards.
• Performing minor machine maintenance and reporting necessary maintenance to the engineering department.
• Cooperating with the Quality Assurance department to ensure high-quality products.
• Completing required documentation and entering data into the computer database accurately and timely.
• Participating in on-going training opportunities and supporting a continuous quality improvement environment.

Education/Training/Experience

• Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years demonstrated experience running lamination equipment using flexible materials.
• Ability to work with all levels of employees.
• Demonstrated oral and written communication skills.
