Job Purpose In a team-oriented environment, perform all duties related to the operation of the Finishing Laminator. This includes operating the machinery, producing material, inspection of the material and packaging of the material for shipping. This position also involves shipping and receiving of incoming and outgoing material as part of the Finished Goods Department. Key Accountabilities Support the standards and values of AkzoNobel.Complete all training modulesAssist with the finishing laminator setup according to specifications and schedules.Pull /Print all instructions on a job order, including Specifications.Develop a working knowledge with the inventory control systemsEnsure that all the finished products are properly labelled, packaged and delivered to its specified areaAssist with operating the finishing laminator in a safe manner while keeping work areas clean and orderly.Have a thorough understanding of the quality system.Operate all essential warehouse equipment in a safe manner (Forklift, Walkie Stacker, pallet jack ect.)Participate in the Safety Journey. Adhere to the Golden Principle which is Simply to intervene to stop work if conditions or behavior are unsafe. Promotes health, safety and environmental regulations by ensuring that standards, policies, and procedures are adhered to in compliance with corporate, federal, state, and local requirements.Participate in the company’s 5S programAssist and participate with other areas in order to promote a team environmentPerforms other duties as required for the success of Akzo Nobel. Additional Responsibilities Monthly Safety Training SessionsParticipate in Recycling EffortsOperation of both 354 and 355 Laminators as specifiedShip and Receive Materials in Syteline System. Job Requirements High School Diploma or GED.
