About the role
The ALPOLIC Division of Mitsubishi Chemical America is seeking a dedicated Lamination Line Operator to join our night-shift manufacturing team. This full-time position operates on a 12-hour schedule from 6:00 PM to 6:15 AM, following a biweekly rotation in which employees work four nights one week and three nights the next, with every other weekend is a three-day weekend off. This unique shift structure means team members work the equivalent of six months per year while receiving full-time pay and benefits.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and troubleshoot operating equipment
- Keep work area clean
- Adhere to safety and environmental rules
- Document the use of materials and time required in the production of materials and products
- Control and operate equipment safely
- Maintain quality standards by inspection of materials, control of process, and continuous sampling and testing of both product and process
- Use scientific rules and methods to solve problems
- Provide value to our customers through effective operations of assigned work area and support to the facility
- Observe gauges, dials, or other indicators to make sure machinery is working properly
- Replenish inventory as needed
- Support supervisors and team in training and cross-training efforts
Requirements
- Must be able to maintain Forklift license as issued by Mitsubishi
Qualifications
- Educational requirement: High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience requirement: One to two years of manufacturing experience; machine operation preferred

Physical requirements
- Must be able to wear personal protective equipment to include safety shoes, safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection, and additional PPE as required
- Correctable eyesight required
- Must be comfortable working around moving equipment
- Must be able to climb ladders and stairs
- Frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, forward reaching, and twisting
- Occasional squatting, crouching, and above shoulder reaching
- Ability to stand for extended period
- Dexterity manipulation required for use of hand tools and light equipment
- Must be able to push/pull material using pallet jack
- Frequent lifting up to 30 lbs., occasional lifting up of 50 lbs.
- Moderate exposure to temperature change in non-climate-controlled environment with potential of working near heated processes
