Lamination Helper - night shift

The Lamination Machine Helper plays a key role in ensuring we deliver quality laminated products consistently.

Schedule

Night Shift – 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM; rotating nights.

Responsibilities

• Stage material and prepare written production paperwork.
• Mix batches of adhesives and coatings.
• Load and unload materials onto the Lamination Machine.
• Perform general housekeeping and acquire materials for production runs.
• Assist the Operator to maximize machine uptime while producing a quality product that meets customer specifications.
• Interact with all levels of the company to ensure adherence to customer specifications.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• At least 18 years of age or older.
• 2+ years of advanced mechanical experience (e.g., taking cars/machines apart, set-up, change-overs).
• 1+ years of manufacturing/operator experience is a plus but not required.
• Able to stand, walk, or sit for 12-hour shifts.
• Able to make and interpret measurements with a standard ruler to 1/16 of an inch (must pass a pre-employment ruler test).
• Physically fit with no restrictions; able to lift up to 65 lbs and maneuver large rolls of materials weighing several hundred pounds daily using equipment.
• Able to squat, bend, crouch, and kneel.
• Able to tolerate chemicals and occasional strong odors.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous ISO experience in a manufacturing or light industrial environment.
• Previous lamination, packaging, or pharmaceutical industry experience (training will be provided).
