About the role
Lakeview Elementary is seeking a SPED Assistant to join our dedicated team. This position is open to permanent employees, substitutes, and external applicants.
Responsibilities
- Support students with special education needs
- Assist in classroom management
- Implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers and parents
Requirements
- Completion of 48 units of college coursework
- AA degree or higher
- Passage of Instructional Aide Testing (ESSA)
Qualifications
- At least two references must be provided on your application
- Selected candidates must complete a DOJ/FBI LiveScan

Schedule
Length of Work Year: 9.5 months per year, 5 days per week, 3.75 hours per day. Shift Hours: Monday-Friday 7:45 a.m.-11:30 a.m.
