About the Role

This is a part-time position supporting special education programs.

Schedule

• 9.5 months per year (school calendar)
• 5 days per week (Monday–Friday)
• 3.75 hours per day (7:45 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.)
• 204 paid work days (1001-hour calendar available at www.pylusd.org)

Pay

Hourly rate: $23.11 – $28.17 (Range 22).

Requirements

• Open to PYLUSD permanent employees, substitutes, and external applicants; interviews begin with qualified permanent applicants.
• At least two references must be provided on the application.
• Must meet one of the following:
  • Completion of 48 units of college coursework,
  • AA degree or higher, or
  • Passage of Instructional Aide Test (ESSA).
• Copy of transcript (degree or unofficial transcript showing 48+ units) or ESSA test results required before applying.
• Current résumé required.
• Selected candidates must complete a DOJ/FBI LiveScan background check.
