About the role

Shaker High School is seeking a Hall Principal for our Ninth and Tenth Graders. The LaFollette Hall Principal supervises the Hall Dean, Faculty and Staff, and our Ninth and Tenth Graders. The LaFollette Hall Principal is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Hall, including discipline and restorative practices; student achievement and equitable outcomes; instructional support that is responsive to whole child; and initiatives to support school culture and growth. A key responsibility is creating and implementing the Master Block Schedule with fellow Hall Principal.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the Hall Dean, Faculty and Staff, and Ninth and Tenth Graders
• Oversee day-to-day operations of the Hall, including discipline and restorative practices
• Drive student achievement and equitable outcomes
• Provide instructional support responsive to the whole child
• Lead initiatives to support school culture and growth
• Create and implement the Master Block Schedule with fellow Hall Principal
• Collaborate with the SHS and NCCS Administrative Teams, Faculty and Staff, Students and Families to create a welcoming and affirming environment for all

Qualifications

• Valid state certification as a SDA or SBL

Pay

Salary – $113,060; based on education & experience
