Lady Liberty Crew

About the Role

The Lady Liberty Crew Member ensures an exceptional guest experience through high-end hospitality and impeccable maintenance of the Lady Liberty yacht. Associates in this role will serve in a variety of positions, including crew member and mate, depending on the boat's operation, which may include pay differentials.

Responsibilities

• Participate in ride-along and job shadowing during the training process.
• Perform general maintenance tasks on Lady Liberty, including daily inspections and cleaning the boat—both dockside and on land.
• Assist the captain in ensuring the safety of all passengers and crew while the Lady Liberty is cruising or guests are on board (may include pay differential during cruise operations).
• Remain current on all required trainings, meetings, reviews, or other non-cruising obligations for the Lady Liberty crew.
• All other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent (minimum preferred).
• 1-3 years’ experience in boating, maintenance, or marine mechanics.
• Boater’s license (preferred).

Skills

• Knowledge of general lake etiquette.
• Ability to complete basic dock maintenance, including mooring techniques, line handling, cleaning, and basic vessel maintenance.
• Knowledge of basic vessel safety, including life vests, emergency equipment, and navigation.
• Ability to adapt and switch quickly between cleaning, serving, and docking duties to ensure an exceptional guest experience.
• Strong swimming skills.
• Ability to maintain privacy for high-profile guests.

Physical Requirements

• Regularly walks, stands, and lifts up to 50 lbs.
• Seldom/never sits or does computer work.
• Regularly works outdoors in varying climates and weather conditions.
• Able to comfortably be in and around lake water.
