Ladle Refining Operator

About the role

This purpose of the Ladle Refiner is maintaining the operation of the LSS and LMF. Ladle Refiner ensures the temperature and chemistry of each heat through the LMF/LSS. They are to ensure the LMF/LSS is running as efficient as possible on their shift and work closely with the Melt Shop Shift Leader to ensure shop pacing.

Responsibilities

• Operation of LSS / LMF ladle car.
• Initiation of sample taking and ensure the samples are sent to the lab.
• Initiation of temperature taking.
• Delivery of raw materials correctly through material feeding system.
