Lactation Consultant/RN, Per Diem

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse with IBCLC certification to provide safe, competent nursing care in accordance with facility policies and standards. Key Responsibilities Include Engaging with patients and families to assess psychosocial, spiritual, emotional, and diversity needs.Developing and implementing individualized care plans utilizing nursing knowledge and skills.Coordinating and evaluating breastfeeding support to help mothers achieve their goals.Demonstrating sensitivity to patient issues and educating clients for successful breastfeeding.Providing professional leadership and support to the healthcare team, emphasizing Patient Centered Care and Service Excellence. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program.Current Nevada nursing license and BLS certification.Preferred experience in acute care setting (minimum one year full-time or three years part-time).Current IBCLC certification required.Successful completion of pre-employment assessments as required.
