Lactation Consultant - Part Time

About the role

Lactation Consultant AHN is needed to provide expert support to mothers and infants.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized breastfeeding support to mothers and their infants
• Conduct assessments and develop personalized care plans
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure optimal care
• Offer educational resources and workshops on breastfeeding
• Assist with hospital policies and procedures related to breastfeeding

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field
• Current certification as a Certified Lactation Consultant (CLC)
• Experience in a healthcare setting preferred

Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of lactation science and best practices

Skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively

Pay

$33.05 - $49.60 per hour
