Del Lago Academy (Escondido, CA) is currently looking for a Head Coach for Varsity Girls Lacrosse for the Spring 2026 Season (February to May 2025).

About the role

The successful candidate will lead the Varsity Girls Lacrosse program, responsible for game strategy, team development, player recruitment, and maintaining high standards of performance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement game strategies that enhance team performance
• Recruit and develop players to improve team skills and competitiveness
• Maintain high standards of performance and conduct practices and games in accordance with established rules and regulations
• Collaborate with other coaches and staff to ensure a cohesive and supportive team environment

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
• Proven track record of success as a lacrosse coach at the high school level
• Experience in developing and implementing effective training programs
• Strong leadership and communication skills

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
