Labview Programmer

Our client is seeking an Engineer Software 2 with extensive LabVIEW programming experience to develop the next-generation test stand data acquisition system.

About the role

As a member of the engineering department, you will design and develop data acquisition software using LabVIEW for production FAT testing of various products and programs. Responsibilities include creating user manuals for test operators, supporting continuous improvement, troubleshooting test software issues, and incorporating analytical tools and automated report generation. You will also develop tools for test preparation, post-data analysis, issue tracking, and test performance metrics.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team in LabVIEW programming for test stand software used in FAT testing.
• Provide software maintenance, support, and future development.
• Design and develop data acquisition software using LabVIEW for production testing.
• Develop user manuals for test operators.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Troubleshoot test software issues.
• Incorporate analytical tools and automated report generation.
• Create tools for test preparation, post-data analysis, issue tracking, and test performance metrics.

Requirements

• Expert-level experience with LabVIEW programming for automated test development.
• Experience with Allen Bradley PLC ladder logic programming and communication protocols (EtherNet/IP and Modbus).
• Proficiency in troubleshooting and test development.

Pay

The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $80.00 per hour. Individual compensation will depend on qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other job-related factors.
