Responsibilities
- Developing and supporting new and existing LabVIEW and PLC software solutions for aerospace test stands and equipment (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Phoenix Contact)
- Designing test cell control systems from concept, to drawings, to construction and commissioning
- Troubleshooting software controls and communication issues or modifying facility screens to add capabilities
- Responding quickly with quality solutions to support our customers
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics
- 5+ years of experience in LabVIEW software development
- 5+ years of test and measurement experience
- Experience in Ladder Logic and Python

We are seeking a qualified engineer with broad-based programming skills who would be expected to assist with a variety of software applications, with good communication and mechanical skills and the ability to work independently or in a team setting in a variety of roles.

- Comfortable working in a fast-paced engineering environment
Skills
- Experience in testing environment overseeing testing of hardware
- Experience as a technical leader and designer
- Experience with PLC’s, including Phoenix Contact, Allen-Bradley, or Emerson PLC’s
- Working knowledge of industry electrical standards (UL508A, NFPA79, IEC, NEC)
- A good grasp of electrical engineering concepts, principles, and practices
- Experience operating standard test equipment: digital multimeters, oscilloscopes, and other electrical measurement tools
- Labor and industrial Equipment protocols such as SCPI, OPC UA, Modbus
- Test and measurement concepts like sample rates, signal noise, time and frequency domain
- LabVIEW certifications CLAD, CLD, or CLA
- Experience with NI hardware like PXI and cRIO platforms to include LabVIEW Real-Time and FPGA programming
- Work ethic that places safety and data quality as the highest priorities
- Proven ability to work with minimal direction in a cross-functional team environment
- Good communication skills, both oral and written
- Experience-solving technical problems utilizing analytical thinking
