About the Role

GrayWolf is a heavy industrial/commercial construction contractor providing end-to-end solutions from design, fabrication, construction, and facility management nationwide. This position is considered entry-level and supports Craft Journeymen and Helpers on construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Work safely around construction hazards and use hand, electric, pneumatic, and hydraulic tools safely.
• Dig, spread, and level dirt and gravel using picks and shovels.
• Lift, carry, and hold building materials and supplies.
• Clean tools, equipment, materials, and work areas (sweeping, mopping, etc.).
• Spray materials such as water, sand, steam, vinyl, paint, or stucco through hoses to clean, coat, or seal surfaces.
• Exercise Stop Work Authority to halt operations if hazardous conditions are identified.
• Maintain constant communication with supervision and remain on the jobsite during work hours.
• Operate fire extinguishers, hydrants, fixed monitors, and hose carts as needed.
• Identify and mitigate safety hazards for yourself and others.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors.

Qualifications

• Entry-level position; prior experience preferred but not required.
• Must communicate effectively and accurately with employees and customers.
• Must pass required Confined Space Entry training.
• Must complete all pre-hire requirements.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English as required by client/facility policies.

Physical/Site Requirements

• Lift and carry items up to 45 pounds.
• Navigate confined, cluttered, and uneven areas.
• Full range of motion and flexibility consistent with age.
• Work up to 12-hour shifts in varying temperature extremes and outdoor conditions.
• Climb and maintain balance on steel frameworks, stairs, ladders, and scaffolds.
• Wear PPE, including footwear, prescription safety glasses, or eye shields.
