Laborer/Welder

About the role

Location: 1100-C Yew Ave, Blaine, WA 98230. Schedule: Full-Time, Monday–Thursday, 10‑hour shifts. Mantle Industries is looking for motivated Laborers/Welder Apprentices to start a hands‑on career in welding or manufacturing. The company will train and potentially certify the right individuals in the welding trade, teaching everything needed to succeed. This is more than just a job—it’s the start of a career.

Responsibilities

• Assist experienced welders and fabricators with materials and prep work
• Load, unload, and move materials using forklifts and pallet jacks
• Learn basic welding and metal fabrication techniques on the job
• Perform quality checks and operate power/hand tools
• Maintain clean and safe work areas
• Complete tasks with urgency and professionalism

Requirements

• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Ability to lift 50 lbs repetitively
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to pass drug and background screening

Preferred qualifications

• Experience using power tools
• Forklift or warehouse experience
• Interest in long‑term career development in manufacturing or welding
