Laborer Traffic Control - Lincoln, NE

About the role

Covering a wide service area including central Nebraska to the panhandle and eastern Colorado, Contractor Services, Inc. (CSI) is a fast-growing traffic control company seeking employees who are eager to join their team. Safety is paramount, and CSI employees play a crucial role in creating safe work zones by installing traffic control devices on various construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Install traffic control devices on roadway construction projects
• Perform pavement marking tasks
• Remove pavement markings as needed
• Operate temporary barrier rail and temporary signals
• Use message boards and other smart zone equipment
• Work safely around traffic and other contractors
• Follow the Safety handbook and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)

Requirements

• Driver's License (Required)
• At least 23 years of age
• Clean driving record
• Professional demeanor both with coworkers and the public
• Ability to work away from home
• On-call availability for overtime
• Ability to work in all weather conditions
• Team player attitude
• Ability to lift 80+ lbs
• Effective communication skills
• Willingness to learn and be trained in classroom and on the job

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience in traffic control or related field preferred
