Laborer (PA)

This position is a field-based role and will travel daily to job sites mostly in Pennsylvania. Henkels and McCoy is a Union Employer.
Responsibilities
- Broom, shovel, and flagging work assisting crew in underground or aerial utility construction.
- Assist crew members in setting poles, placing strand and cable, and removing poles.
- Monitor and maintain condition of company equipment.
- Participate in daily job briefing and safety meetings.
Requirements
- Must be able to lift, reach, dig, and carry heavy objects, with frequent lifting up to 50 pounds and infrequent lifting up to 100 pounds.
- Must be able to wear all required personal safety equipment.
- A valid driver's license is required.
- Must pass pre-employment drug testing.
- Must be available for overtime on weekdays and/or weekends.
Qualifications
- Labor experience in utilities is preferred but not required.
