Laborer (PA)

About the role

This position is a field-based role and will travel daily to job sites mostly in Pennsylvania.

Responsibilities

• Perform broom, shovel, and flagging work to assist crew in underground or aerial utility construction.
• Assist crew members in setting poles, placing strand, cable, and removing poles.
• Monitor and maintain the condition of company equipment.
• Participate in daily job briefing and safety meetings.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift, reach, dig, and carry heavy objects; with frequent lifting up to 50 pounds and infrequent lifting of up to 100 pounds.
• Ability to wear all required personal safety equipment.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Subject to pre-employment drug testing.
• Availability for overtime on weekdays and/or weekends.
• Labor experience in utilities is preferred but not required.
