About the Role
This position is a field-based role and will require daily travel to job sites, primarily in Pennsylvania.
Responsibilities
- Perform broom, shovel, and flagging work to assist crew in underground or aerial utility construction.
- Assist crew members in setting poles, placing strand, cable, and removing poles.
- Monitor and maintain the condition of company equipment.
- Participate in daily job briefings and safety meetings.
Requirements
- Must be able to lift, reach, dig, and carry heavy objects, with frequent lifting up to 50 pounds and infrequent lifting of up to 100 pounds.
- Must be able to wear all required personal safety equipment.
- A valid driver’s license is required.
- Must pass pre-employment drug testing.
- Must be available for overtime on weekdays and/or weekends.
- Labor experience in utilities is preferred but not required.
