LABORER - LAKE CHARLES & SULPHUR
Responsibilities
Maintains facilities and grounds which includes mowing; weed eating; trimming trees; picking up litter; sweeping; mopping; shoveling, raking, and pouring asphalt; and flagging traffic.
Operates and maintains a variety of vehicles, equipment and tools; completes routine maintenance on equipment, tools, and vehicles.
Performs minor building maintenance duties such as changing light bulbs, moving furniture and other non-technical duties.
Performs other duties of a similar nature or level.
Requirements
- Education and Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.); or, an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above.
- Licenses: Valid Driver's License as per State law or requirement.

Work Schedule
Variated work schedules allow our employees excellent work-life balance. Schedules vary by department and include the following: Part-time, Full-time, Temporary, Rotating shifts, 12-hour shifts, 4/10s, 9/80s, 5/8s.
Uniform
An employee in this position will be supplied with a uniform, provided by the Calcasieu Parish Police Jury.
