About the role
CMTA is seeking a reliable and hardworking Construction Laborer to support daily operations on high-end residential and commercial construction projects. This hands-on role is essential to maintaining clean, safe, and organized job sites, as well as protecting newly installed finishes and existing structures.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily site maintenance, including sweeping, trash removal, and debris disposal into designated dumpsters
- Install temporary protective coverings on floors, walls, and other finished surfaces to prevent damage during construction
- Assist with general labor tasks needed to support site supervisors and tradespeople
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company procedures
- Travel to job sites throughout NYC, Northern NJ, and Southern CT as required
Requirements
- High School Diploma
- Prior experience on construction sites preferred, but not required
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs. and perform physically demanding tasks
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a team-player attitude
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to various job sites
Pay
Hourly Range: $22.00 - $24.00
