Responsibilities

• General and final cleanup
• Distribution and cleanup of power hand-tools, extension cords, generators
• Dewatering activities, set-up of water pumps and hoses
• Manual moving of formwork, lumber, rebar, and material accessories
• Hand excavation and backfill
• Hand grade sub-base
• Place vapor barrier and board insulation
• Place and tie rebar
• Placing concrete from a truck, pump, bucket, buggy, conveyor, etc.
• Rake, screed, edge, broom finish, and vibrate concrete
• Place concrete blankets
• Strip, wreck, clean, and oil formwork
• General and selective demolition of masonry, drywall, plaster, partitions, ceilings, and finishes of all types
• Use of demolition tools: jack hammer, air tools, sledge hammer, etc.
• Use of cutoff saw and cutting torch
• Other tasks as directed by supervisor

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of three years’ experience in commercial construction
• Reliable transportation
• Willingness to work within a 50-mile radius
• Ability to work in a variety of seasonal and weather conditions
