Responsibilities

• Basic construction site manual labor, including dirt work, equipment operation, and maintenance.
• Moving equipment to job sites, offloading materials, and installation of materials per design.
• Follow Foreman’s lead on proper job site setup and cleanup.
• Safely operate trucks and heavy equipment to and from job sites.
• Operate equipment: backhoe, trencher, mini excavator, and forklift (training provided; must pass Operator Qualifications tests).
• Perform routine/preventative maintenance and inspection on equipment.
• Provide and maintain accurate paperwork.
• 70% labor, 30% driving.
• Travel: 90% (typical schedule is 3 weeks on, 7 days off).

Requirements

• Must have Class A CDL with an acceptable driving record.
• Minimum 1 year of construction and/or field work experience.
• Able to pass DOT drug test and physical.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations for drivers and trucks.
• Able to work outdoors in all types of weather.
• Prefer candidate resides or plans to reside within 60 miles of the office.
• Minimum 21 years of age.
• Must be able to lift and carry 75 lbs.
• Must be willing to work long hours, such as 12-hour shifts, when required.
• Must be willing to work as part of a team.
