Laborer Bridge Construction

About the role

Zenith Tech Inc., a Walbec Group company, is seeking a hardworking, loyal, and driven Laborer to support road, highway, and bridge construction projects. Responsibilities

• Perform physical labor supporting all aspects of layout and construction of bridges and related structures
• Concrete demolition and deck repair
• Maintain machines and equipment
• Assist in clean-up of job sites
• Other duties as assigned by the Foreman or management

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record
• High School diploma or GED equivalent preferred
• Punctual and dependable
• Ability to work varied hours including nights, early mornings, and weekends as needed
• Ability to tolerate and work in variable weather conditions, dirty and dusty environments
• Willing and capable of performing physically demanding work
• Willingness to become a member of a Local Laborer Union (membership not required prior to employment)

Qualifications

• 2 years of prior bridge construction experience and/or construction laborer experience preferred
• Experience operating a Concrete Vibrator, Jack Hammer, and mortar

Schedule

Work hours vary and may include nights, early mornings, and weekends as needed.

Projects will vary by location, including Racine, WI, Kenosha, WI, and other locations as needed. Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to any job site are required.
