Carpenter Bridge Construction

About the role

Proud Partner of the Green Bay Packers. The Position: We're looking for a Carpenter responsible for the assembly and removal of forms used for forming concrete structures during bridge/dam construction. These forms include footings, abutments, walls, pier stems/columns, pier caps, bridge decking and parapets. Other related duties may be assigned by the Foreman or other management.

Responsibilities

- Assembly and removal of forms used for forming concrete structures. - Work with an industry leading company in heavy road and highway construction. - Tolerate and work in variable weather conditions and dirty/dusty environments. - Work varied hours including nights, early mornings, and weekends as needed.

Requirements

- Valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record. - High School diploma or GED equivalent is preferred. - Punctual and dependable. - Member of a Local Carpenters Union, or willing to become one. - Prior bridge construction experience and/or construction experience is preferred. - Bridge decking experience. - Proficient in building form footings, forming walls, wings, and tying in corners using concrete forming systems.
