Bridge Construction Carpenter

About the role

Zenith Tech of the Walbec Group is seeking a Carpenter to join their team in Tomah, WI. This position involves assembling and removing forms used for forming concrete structures during bridge and dam construction.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and remove forms for footings, abutments, walls, pier stems/columns, pier caps, bridge decking, and parapets.
• Perform related duties as assigned by the Foreman or management.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Possess a valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
• Be punctual and dependable.
• Able to work varied hours including nights, early mornings, and weekends as needed.
• Tolerate and work in variable weather conditions and dirty/dusty environments.
• Member of a Local Carpenters Union, or willing to become one.
• Prior bridge construction experience and/or construction experience is preferred.
• Proficient in building form footings, forming walls, wings, and tying in corners using concrete forming.
