About the Role

The Laborer position is a vital role within our roofing construction team, responsible for supporting various tasks that contribute to the successful completion of projects. This position requires physical stamina and the ability to work in diverse environments, ensuring that all work is performed safely and efficiently. Laborers will assist in the preparation of job sites, including loading and unloading materials, and maintaining a clean and organized work area. The ultimate goal of this role is to facilitate the smooth operation of construction activities, enabling the team to meet project deadlines and quality standards. By performing these essential tasks, the Laborer plays a crucial part in the overall success of our construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the loading and unloading of materials and equipment at job sites.
• Prepare and clean job sites by removing debris and hazardous materials.
• Support skilled tradespeople by providing necessary tools and materials.
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
• Perform general maintenance and repairs on tools and equipment as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical labor for extended periods. Basic understanding of construction safety practices.
• Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience in a laborer or construction role. Familiarity with hand and power tools. OSHA safety certification.
