Laborer

About the role

McMillen, Inc. is seeking immediate placement of an experienced Laborer for a project in Umatilla, OR, with additional long‑term work opportunities in the Western Region.

Responsibilities

• Perform demolition, hydro blasting, dewatering, and pump management activities.
• Experience working with concrete batch plants is a plus.
• Assist other skilled crafts on the project.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

Physical demands: frequent standing, walking, use of hands, reaching, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, talking/hearing; work at elevated heights; occasional lifting/moving up to 50 lbs; vision requirements include close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of a background check and drug screen (offer contingent).
• Security clearance required, determined based on background check results.

Skills

• Experience working with concrete batch plants (preferred).

Benefits

• Per diem provided when temporarily assigned 70+ miles from residence.

Pay

• Base pay range: $25‑30/hour (DOE).
• Compensation includes prevailing wage plus zone pay.

Schedule

6/10 schedule with potential for swing shift.
