Key Responsibilities

• Prepare areas for the placement of concrete
• Assemble concrete forms
• Handle concrete buckets
• Muck concrete in slabs
• Assist concrete finishers
• Support block masons
• Handle and transport building materials
• Distribute site materials
• Ensure site materials are properly stored
• Promote a safe work environment

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid Driver’s License
• Follow safe work practices
• Take initiative and ask questions
• Have a keen attention to detail
• Communicate effectively and professionally
• Strong mathematical reasoning and quantitative skills
• Reliable and punctual
• Own safety footwear

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in construction layout, blueprint reading, and shop drawing reading
• OSHA 10 Certification
• CPR & First Aid Certification

Physical Requirements

• Heavy Work

• Reading and understanding blueprints, load charts, and taking/verifying field measurements
• Climbing ladders, stairs, scaffolding, and ramps

• Using hands and wrists with various tools
• Using jackhammers and pavement breakers
• Using wheelbarrows and brooms
• Repetitively using hands and wrists with power, rotational, and vibration tools
• Tolerating dusts and chemicals
