Laborer

Hours: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM; weekend and evening hours as required. Various job-site locations.

About the role

Laborers work on different types of construction projects, performing a variety of skilled tasks while adhering to all safety policies and procedures. Our Laborers consistently demonstrate integrity, gratitude, excellence, and leadership by delivering quality work, being prompt, and communicating effectively to ensure safe, skillful, and productive project completion.

Responsibilities

• Assist with building and repairing roads, highways, and bridges
• Assist with laying pipe
• Assist with placing and finishing concrete
• Assist with job-site housekeeping
• Assist with grade checking
• Communicate with supervision regarding training and safety equipment uncertainty
• Work outside in all types of weather conditions
• Know and adhere to all company policies and procedures
• Other duties as assigned (any deviation must be cleared by the Jobsite Foreman or Superintendent)

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age
• Must be able to pass a drug screening
• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
