Laborer

What You Will Do

• Operate bagging machinery to package and stack 50lb bags of products on pallets according to specifications.
• Inspect products and packaging to ensure they meet quality standards.
• Transport raw materials, finished products, and packaging materials to and from storage areas using manual or mechanical means.
• (If experienced) Operate a forklift (after certification) to move products and materials within the facility.
• Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records by recording quantities of materials and products.
• Follow all safety procedures and protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment and work areas to ensure operational efficiency and cleanliness.
• Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to achieve production goals.

What We Seek

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience: Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment is a plus.
• Forklift Experience: Preferred but not required. Training will be provided.
• Skills: Ability to operate machinery and tools used in bagging operations, basic math and measurement skills, strong attention to detail and commitment to quality, good communication and teamwork skills.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and move objects up to 100 pounds.
• Ability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.
• Comfortable working in varying temperatures and conditions.
• Wears proper PPE in the manufacturing area (shoes, safety glasses, and hearing protection).
