Entry-level position assisting crew members with various tasks to successfully complete construction projects.

Operate hand and power tools of all types: air hammers, earth tampers, cement mixers, small mechanical hoists, and a variety of other equipment and instruments
Assist other craft workers in doing their job functions
Measure, mark, and record openings and distances to lay out areas where construction work will be performed
Clean and prepare sites, dig trenches, or compact and level earth using picks, shovels, pneumatic tampers, or rakes
Notify supervisor and address potential safety hazards in a timely fashion
Keep work area, tools, and equipment clean and in working condition
Follow all Company policies and procedures and obtain certifications at Company/Client request, including but not limited to: BBP, Onsite Orientations, First Aid, CPR, Annual OSHA Training, PEC, H2S

GED and/or high school diploma and/or 1 year of experience
Ability to use addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and other basic math skills to accurately complete tasks
Knowledgeable of basic tools and able to operate basic power tools such as: cordless drills/drivers, jigsaws, table saws, sanders, grinders, air compressors, tape measures, etc.
Ability to perform each essential function satisfactorily; accommodations will be provided in compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act and state or local law

Frequent physical activity, including lifting, bending, and moving in various environmental conditions
Exposure to typical construction site conditions such as dust, noise, and outdoor weather

Full-time position. Typical work hours are Monday through Saturday from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM. Flexibility is required to accommodate project schedules.
