Laborer

Responsibilities

• Perform tasks involving physical labor on construction projects
• Work at elevated heights as required
• Knowledge of tools and materials used in commercial construction
• Operate hand and power tools, including air hammers, earth tampers, cement mixers, small mechanical hoists, surveying and measuring equipment, and other equipment and instruments
• Clean and prepare sites, dig trenches, set braces to support the sides of excavations, erect scaffolding, and clean up rubble and debris
• Assist other craft workers
• Work in all weather conditions; prolonged bending, squatting, standing, and lifting
• Adhere to safety protocols and work in a drug-free environment

Requirements

• 1 year of commercial construction experience preferred
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs
• Ability to stoop, bend, and stand for extended periods
• Ability to work at elevated heights
