Laborer

Job Summary Arcosa Aggregates is seeking a Laborer based out of our Old Bridge Asphalt site to support a positive safety culture in an aggregate environment that is regulated by OSHA safety standards in our East Region. This role is responsible for performing general labor tasks including shoveling, raking and moving materials as needed. Day to Day Actively promote safety awareness and continuous improvement through positive recognitionPerform general labor tasks including shoveling, raking. And moving materials as neededParticipate in routine maintenance, cleaning, washing of the facility and equipmentOperate small equipment as needed such as a skid steer or manliftComply with all industry safety rules, policies, procedures and applicable government regulationsPerform daily workplace inspections and reports deficiencies immediately to supervisorMaintain strong communications with other plant employees and operatorsPerform other duties or responsibilities as assigned About You Prompt, regular, and predictable attendancePositive, Team-based attitudeThe ability to stand, stoop, bend, lift, walk, climb stairs, ladders, and catwalks up to 60 feet as required.The ability to work in varied outdoor environments (cold, hot, dry, dusty, rainy)Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a teamStrong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions Working Conditions While most equipment has air conditioning, there will be times when other responsibilities may require periods of work in all weather conditions including heat, cold, wet, dry, and dusty.
